京雄快线首列车全长187.2米，宽3.3米，高3.88米，车辆外观融合空气动力学与现代美学设计，流线型车体科技感与未来感十足，涂装以“星辰大海”为主题，融汇星辰闪烁的璀璨与海浪涌动的韵律，呼应雄安新区“未来之城”的愿景。
据介绍，该列车兼具高速安全、绿色低碳、智能先进、舒适便捷等突出特点。在轻量化方面，车头、设备舱等局部采用碳纤维复合材料，较传统材料减重约30%；电池采用高功率密度的锂电池，较传统镍铬或铅酸电池减重约30%；牵引变流器通过结构与算法优化，进一步降低重量。在节能方面，通过应用永磁同步电机牵引系统，配备变频空调、LED智能感光照明等系统，实现高效率节能优化。在减振降噪方面，整车采用隔声、减振及阻尼约束等技术，车厢噪声控制在67分贝以内，达到国内领先水平。
